Accessibility Statement

Aurelia Studio wants ambryn.shop to be usable by everyone, including shoppers who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or voice control. We treat accessibility as part of the build, not an add-on.

What we have done

The site is built on semantic HTML with one clear heading per page, labelled navigation and a skip-to-content link.
Product images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative elements are hidden from assistive technology.
Text and background colours are chosen to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast targets, and body text stays legible when enlarged to 200%.
Menus, accordions and forms can be operated with a keyboard alone, and focus outlines remain visible.
Page layouts reflow to a single column on small screens without horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

Product photography is supplied by our makers and occasionally shows fine detail that is hard to describe in a short alt tag; we are gradually rewriting these descriptions. Some older policy pages may still contain tables that are easier to read with magnification. If a specific page gives you trouble, tell us and we will send the content in another format.

Assessment

We review the storefront against WCAG 2.1 AA before major layout changes and after any new component is added. This statement is reviewed twice a year and updated when the site changes materially.
